Instructors are classically trained and professional artists, with gallery expertise.
Background in art therapy, so we are thoughtful when considering the needs of our students.
We are a fine art studio, and we teach technical skills in a hands on way.

*Advanced art has always been offered as a 1hr class (4:30-5:30). Starting in fall of 2023, we are adding an additional 30 min to the course as optional studio time.

Sculpture Class
Hand building, Potters Wheel and Carving

Meets:
4th Saturday of every month (11am-12pm);
1st Wednesday of every month (5:30-6:30pm)
2nd Wednesday of every month (5:30-6:30pm)
*there are a limited number of wheels available; spots are first come first serve. Please contact the studio to check availability before paying for your class.
$35/person/class. Sculpture and clay classes are priced per class. Please see the calendar below for details.
Fall 2023: Pottery students who have taken 5 or more classes and who do not need 1 on 1 instruction are welcome to rent the wheels during any of our fine art classes. See our fall/winter/spring class schedule. Contact us for scheduling. 1hr long session/$35

About your Instructor:
Candace Thibeault holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, as well as Art Therapy and Public Relations. Candace has experience in showing, curating and producing art at university & gallery levels. She has served as juror for several New England Universities and has curated work for many industries; such as pharmaceutical companies, restaurants and hotels . Candace has had her work published in several Publications, digital and hard copy. Her illustrations were purchased for a jewelry line that was featured as the 'Best gifts for the Holiday' in The Charlotte Magazine. She has been an educator for over 15 years, and has helped many of her students gain acceptance into prestigious art programs such as RISD, Massachusetts College of Art And Design and Savannah College of Art & Design. Candace has spent time working with alternative schools and students who have needed very particular types of art projects and therapies. Candace currently teaches full time from her home studio and produces work in the form of commissions and portfolios for upcoming gallery shows.
