When enrolling in a large group class (**), all students will work on a guided drawing, painting or clay project. The large groups are fun for students looking for social interaction while learning the foundations of art. These groups are intended for 7-14 year olds, but the group may be split according to ages.
Smaller groups (*) are meant for students who desire more one on one time, while working on a piece of their own choice. Projects can be provided by the instructor, or in some cases, students may bring in their own reference materials for guidance through an art project. In these classes, it is important that parents and/or students maintain an open dialogue about what they hope to learn through class (if they have specific goals). Otherwise, the instructor will provide projects that touch on technical skill, but also cover various styles of art. For ages 7 and up.
